History of “MKFC is not only following the changes but making them” MKFC runs MKFC Stockholm Folkhögskola and MKFC Stockholm College MKFC is one of the members in the Swedish Popular Adult Education Movement. The state funds support this Democratic Education Movement and MKFC combines it with private College.

Since the year 2000 our public education profile has been based on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). The private College carries out education on all levels to governments and organizations. Our education model gives us the freedom to design contents and methods from Primary School to University level and has supported our Action Learning processes in Developing countries.
MKFC is, as the first eLearning institute in Nordic Countries, the role model for this new paradigm and working today as expert in making existing educations to eLearning and Broker of Nordic eLearning to Europe and developing countries.

Education for all As a friend of “Education for All” MKFC has offered learning possibilities worldwide since 2001. MKFC is continually developing the best practice with several partners within education and companies.

Learning objects are easy and cheap to produce for different needs and for different learning styles. Gender and local cultures are issues whitch the learnercentred and learner activating methodology manage well within e-Learning. MKFC is expert and used as the good example in practicing e-Learning in Scandinavian. MKFC has been
offering the whole education process from the preassessment to the certification on the e-Learningplatform since 2001.

Costs and results

Since 2001 when MKFC moved all courses to our e-learning platform, the education costs have decreased to 25% compared to the costs of traditional learning. At the same time the quality has been better and the put through is now 95%.

Imagine when all education also is offered as e-learning and focus is on learning rather than buildings and administration; then our dream of Education for All is fullfilled!
